New Years Weekend Extravaganza !

Starting off my adventures for New Years Weekend! I started out by going to Powhatan Wildlife Reserves to take pictures of the night sky!

December 29th, 2016. Happy Birthday, Brother!

Very spontaneous, I was looking around different weather reports and saw that it was clear skies across the state of Virginia. So I checked the Moon calendar and it turns out that the moon has set at 5:45 pm. I have Clear Dark skies i decided at that moment i was going to go out attempt astrophotography. Took a 2 hour drive to Powhatan Wildlife Reserve to get these results.

When I initially arrived I was "star struck". It was absolutely the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. After the initial shock, I was a little disappointed because of the lack of Milky Way. I was still close enough to the town of Powhatan where the stars further in the galaxy were hiding in the light pollution.

31 December 2016, Happy New Years

Marks the end of my adventures for this year. 2017 has a lot to offer, new challenges, new goals, new everything, and it gets me excited thinking about all that is to come.

This is my Last Image for 2016 just a few seconds before 2017 rolled in.

This closes out 2016 for the world. A lot of goods and a lot of bad have happened this year. But what I can't take away is all the experiences. I met wonderful people, people that have motivated me to go above and beyond. I want to thank the Sasebo Photography Club for supporting and watching me grow. I am ready to start 2017 with a bang. New Challenges, New Goals, and new Motivations to help me become a better photographer and a better person. Thank You All for your love and support!
