My Time in Japan

Just like most people in the US Navy. I found being in Japan even more stressful. The workload of FDNF life while in Japan and literally thousands of dollars and miles away from family and friends. While I was out here I found I needed to find an escape. The Guitar was one of them but that kept me cooped up inside my apartment. Then following the inspiration of a few friends and Seniors I found my new escape, the beginning of Adventures!

Traffic in Sasebo at night!

Sunset at Shiinokicho.

While I took up photography, I genuinely fell in love with Film Photography. I was obsessed with it. Get it right and some of the results were absolutely stunning. If you get it wrong go out and try again. As much as I do love my DSLR I found that film a little bit more thereputic. I have 36 tries to get 36 wonderfully composed shots.

Expressions of Japan.

Clouds over Sasebo Bay.

Crissy at the greatest Steakhouse in Sasebo. Fatmans (Now Michelle Browns).

Bur Bur posing for me in an abandoned house. Shes got balls for going in to begin with.

Splashing in the little canal.

After finding photography, I went out more and more, and in this world that is relatively disgusting. I found that with photography not only do I now have memories, but it helps and allows me to see the small sliver of beauty that the World really has to offer.

Rainy Season in Sasebo.

The happy couple at Yakiniku

Couple walking with their child during the Cherry Blossom.

Fun day of shooting with BurBur and Tay!

USS Bonhomme Richard undergoing Ship repairs.

My friend Jordan and I messing around with objects in a Pawn Shop. We honestly had no idea what this thing was.

Silly Divos!

I caught Ben hanging out at Starbucks!

My bud on watch.

Thank you very much friends, for making my time in Japan just a little bit more bearable.

I am excited to continue to go out in different parts of the world and capture the beauty! I have my friends in Japan to keep me borderline sane! I look forward to writing some more and sharing it with the rest of the world, whoever discovers this website.   :)
